Harvest Moon Festival - 25th September 2021

The Harvest Moon Festival.

It was a bit cloudy but hundreds and hundreds of people came to the Harvest Moon Festival along with lots of dogs, children, family and friends.

There was music from a live band, food in every corner, a bouncy castle, a funfair, championship chess, a dog agility contests, football with Jolof, kids rugby with Try Time,  games with Sharkey and George, a relay race with Keep on Runnin, a raffle, excellent face painting and numerous local shops selling jewellery, wine, clothes, herbs, honey, cakes, plants and much more.

And most importantly, we raised thousands of pounds for The H&F Foodbank.

The Mayor of Hammersmith and Fulham  Mr P J Murphy and the Lady Mayoress were with us for a couple of hours which was great. Whilst he was with us the Major put his seal of approval on our freshwater fountain and dedicated the fountain to John Hambridge who spent so much of his time improving South Park for everybody.

And Finally.

A big thank you to everybody who came to The Harvest Moon Festival and helped us to raise so much money for the H&F Foodbank and not forgetting the Friends of South Park volunteers who put so much time and effort into making the Festival a great success.

Halloween 18 1 Haus on a ballon.JPG

This is a great fun event for children and families. It can be a little cold at the end of October, but the excitement of ghostly face paint or dressing up as a witch, a wizard or a monster keeps everybody warm.
